Wow, these past eight days have been crazy! We have had a lot of things going on with the girls. It feels like it's been one thing after another.
As Wes was flying back from Trinidad last Thursday, Gracie called me from the other room and said that her tooth was really wiggly. About five minutes after she told me, Wes text me that he had landed. I text back that he better hurry or Gracie would loose the tooth without him. Fortunately, the tooth waited for him to come home and yank it out. Somehow, the girls knew all about the tooth fairy and what the procedure was. Lizzie was just as excited as Gracie. The next morning, the tooth fairy left a note for both girls and money for Gracie. It was really fun!

Missing a tooth |
On Saturday, the girls had a hockey practice and we went to a pancake breakfast. After that, we decided to pick up some things from the store. While we were there, Gracie tripped and busted her chin open on the tile floor. That led to the rest of the afternoon being spent in the ER to get stitches. She was a brave girl. She told us later, that she knew we shouldn't have gone in that store.

Seven stitches |
Monday was the 101th day of school and all the kindergarteners dressed up like dalmatians. The girls were so excited and made shirts with Nana. Gracie got to sport a band aid on her chin to protect the stitches. They had a parade around the school and watched 101 Dalmatians after lunch. It was a really fun day for them.
Friday was Valentine's Day and Get Gracie's Stitches Out Day. Both events were exciting. Gracie was so happy she was getting her stitches out. For Valentine's Day, the girls had to have a box for their valentines and valentine's for all their friends. It was a lot of work, but we got it done. After school, we got the stitches removed and Gracie was brave for the doctor.
Whew, what a busy week!
