Spring Program!

This week, the girls performed in their school program. Because they are in different classes, their performances were on different days. Grandma and Papa made a special trip just to see the performance!

First up was Lizzie. She did a great job and looked so cute. Lizzie was very serious about it. The theme was Noah's Ark. They are wearing rain ponchos.

Next was Gracie. She did really well also. Unfortunately, she had a runny nose and kept sneezing. She was so sweet. She blew kisses to Grandma.

I'm so glad that Grandma and Papa came to see the girls. It meant a lot to Lizzie and Gracie. All the week before, they talked about when Grandma and Papa were coming to watch them sing. These girls are getting so BIG! I can't believe it!

We had a picnic yesterday at lunch and then went to find some flowers for our picture. They were happier this time!

Donuts for Dad

Yesterday was Donuts for Dad at the girls school. This has been a topic of conversation for some time. The girls were so excited. In fact several days earlier, the girls and Wes decided that he would go to Gracie's class first.Wes was pretty busy running back and forth between the classes. He said he overheard one dad saying, where's that guy going? Just part of the twin experience.....

Unfortunately, Wes didn't get a picture of Lizzie and him. They all had a good time. Last year, Wes missed Donuts for Dad because he had Strep. I'm so happy that he was able to go this time and make his kiddos happy.

Easter 2013

We celebrated Easter this past weekend. Wes was lucky enough to have both Good Friday and Easter Monday off. We traveled to Oklahoma City to see the family!

We hunted Easter Eggs three different times! It was a great weekend.

It was a fun weekend. We really missed my aunt Betty. She was on all our minds. Between all the Easter egg hunts, we did fit in going to church and celebrating the Resurrection.

Out With the Old

This past weekend, my parents came down to help us sort the girls toys. Their toys were starting to push the rest of us out of the house. We got a lot accomplished and had fun along the way.

They arrived Thursday and the girls were excited. Almost immediately, my mom started in on the toys. When she has a mission, there is no stopping her. Friday, we worked on the toys.

Saturday was the Easter Egg Hunt at church. It was all held indoors because it rained all night and morning. It didn't stop the kids from having fun!

 Sunday was Palm Sunday and the girls were singing in the choir. Choir is great for them, not only are they making so many friends, they are also learning about music and worship. Its so fun for them.

We had a great weekend and are glad to be rid of a ton of toys! I'm glad that Grandma, Papa and Nana were all here to hear the girls sing.
